Description of Ungrading: Achieving Equity through Unconventional Assessment

In this session, faculty will learn about an approach to assessing written work that promotes learning, equity, and risk-taking: Ungrading. The session will present both philosophical and practical information on this approach to assessment, including how faculty can implement these ideas without increasing their workload.
