New Student Orientation

Welcome to HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College! We’re thrilled that you chose HACC to start or continue your educational journey. Soon after completing your admissions process, you will be sent an email with YOUR date for an orientation and advising session which will be held remotely via Zoom. New Student Orientation will assist you with:

  • Completing the enrollment process
  • Making a smooth transition to college
  • Engaging with available HACC resources
  • Finding your why, or the reason you chose to attend college
  • Discover similarities and differences among your fellow HACC students

Your Orientation and Advising email will come to your HAWKMail address, so if you have not yet activated that account please do so ASAP! If you cannot attend on the date and time that you are scheduled, you will be given the opportunity to schedule another session that suits your schedule. If you still need to schedule an alternate date, please email orientation@hacc.edu.

If you need disability-related accommodations for this session, please contact orientation@hacc.edu five days before your scheduled orientation date.

As a HACC student, you have access to Orientation Homebase, a comprehensive document that will help you confidently access key HACC services and personnel. You can access this document at any time by logging in to your myhacc account and selecting “Orientation Homebase” under the Student Success > New Student Orientation tabs.
