Does the Center offer student rush tickets and how much are they?

Rush tickets are occasionally available to students with a valid school ID. Student rush ticket discounts vary depending on show stipulations and policies. Please call our ticket office the day of the performance at (717) 231-ROSE (7673). to inquire about rush ticket availability.

One ticket per student ID.

What is the inclement weather policy?

If a performance is able to take place despite inclement weather the show will go on; however, if the Center postpones a performance our website and local media will be aware and announcing. Tickets will be honored at the rescheduled event or refunded.

Is there food or drink available in the Center?

A variety of beverages and snacks are available in the lobby during intermissions; however, only bottled water is permitted inside the Rose Lehrman Arts Center Theatre.

When can I pick up my tickets before the show?

Tickets may be retrieved anytime during regular business hours, or one hour prior to the performance at our will call window.

Tickets for the Rose Lehrman Arts Center are available at our Box Office and online at www.hacc.edu/rose.

How do we reach a live person when calling the ticket office?

Call our Box Office at (717)231-ROSE (7673). Please note that phones are answered during our business hours only which are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. September – May. - All phone messages will be returned as soon as possible. The Box Office is closed when the college is closed.

When do shows go on sale?

Tickets to performances at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center are on sale Sept 10, 2007 for the 2007-2008 Season. Tickets can be purchased for any performances within that season.

What is ‘Will Call’?

Will call refers to our Box Office window. Tickets are available for pick-up one hour prior to all performances for guests who have already purchased and must pick up their tickets.

Where do we enter the building?

Guests may enter either through the main entrance at the flags in front of the Rose Lehrman Arts Center across from the gazebo or by entering the handicap ramp located at the end of the building closest to the parking lot.

The farthest seat from the stage is only 40 feet away.

What is the capacity of the Center?

The Rose Lehrman Arts Center has a maximum capacity of 400 seats.

What time should we arrive?

The doors to the Rose Lehrman Arts Center open 1/2 hour prior to all performances. We recommend arriving as early as possible as seats are not reserved when ordered. “Friends” receive priority center section seating – Click here for more information on becoming a Friend of the Rose.

How do I order Susquehanna Valley Dance Series Tickets?

The Susquehanna Valley Dance Series is a collaboration between the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in York, PA and the Rose Lehrman Arts Center at Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, PA. Combine two dance events offered at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center with the Dance Events offered in the package and receive a 10% discount on all tickets to those performances. How do I renew my Friend of the Rose Membership?

What fees are incurred ordering through the Box Office?

Tickets purchased for the Rose Lehrman Arts Center incur a $4.00 postage and handling fee.

What is the smoking policy?

Smoking is not allowed inside any part of the Rose Lehrman Arts Center. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the building.

What can’t we bring inside the Rose Lehrman Arts Center?

Only bottled water is permitted inside the Rose Lehrman Arts Center. Photos may be taken inside the lobby areas of the Center; however, neither cameras nor recording devices are permitted inside our Theatre. When attending a performance, please turn off all cell phones, pagers and beeping watches.

What denominations of gift certificates are available?

Gift certificates are available in a variety of denominations greater than $20.00.

How do you redeem a gift certificate?

Gift certificates purchased from the Rose Lehrman Arts Center can be redeemed in person at our Box Office.

Can tickets be reprinted if I have misplaced or forgotten them?

Tickets can be reprinted during the one hour prior to the event. Original purchaser must present identification.

Can we turn in our tickets for resale?

The Box Office does not give refunds. For sold out shows tickets can be resold in the lobby to waiting patrons without tickets. Unused tickets can be donated to RLAC.

Do you have children’s or senior citizen’s prices?

Tickets are occasionally available at a lesser rate for children at certain performances. Please call the Box Office for details.
