About the Rose Lehrman Arts Center Facility

INTIMATE, COMFORTABLE, ACCESSIBLE

The state-of-the art, technically superior Auditorium Theatre features a 400-seat intimate house, with no seat more than 45 feet from the stage. Recent renovations have brought new theatre seating, carpeting, flooring, and upgraded audio visual equipment. The theatre is equipped with a nine-foot Steinway concert grand piano, acoustical shells, and a marley dance floor. The theatre has an infrared assistive listening system, handrails along the walls and step units, plus wheelchair transfer seating. Our box office staff is trained to handle information and ticket orders through the PA relay system. The Studio Theatre, a flexible black-box theatre, can seat up to 150. It is the home of HACC TheatreWorks, a student theatre production company. Support areas for both theatres include a fully equipped scene shop, a movement studio, a green room, workrooms for properties and costumes, and large and small dressing rooms. The Rose Lehrman Art Gallery accommodates both two and three-dimensional art and is staffed by a full time gallery curator. Nationally and internationally known artists exhibit in the gallery. Recent renovations include lobby and green room furniture. Visiting artists are hosted each semester for workshops, lectures and demonstrations. Please check the current exhibition schedule for more information or call 717-780-2435.

The Rose Garden Plaza adjacent to the gallery is used for receptions. The Rose Lehrman Arts Center Box Office, concession and coatroom are located in the lobby, which is also used for receptions.
