HACC's MVA is Proud to Recognize Black History Month and spotlight the late General (Ret) & former Secretary of State: Colin Powell
General (Ret) and former United States (US) Secretary of State Colin Powell was a descendant of Jamaican immigrants, born in New York and lived in Harlem. He joined ROTC in college and served over 35 years in the United States Army and retired as a four-star General.
