HACC Students

Computer Testing for Online Students

Each campus provides services for any student who needs to take a proctored computer exam for an online course. Students must show valid photo ID in order to take any tests.

Scheduling a Testing Appointment
All proctored computer exam appointments must be set up using the Computer Exam Appointment Form.

Exams should be scheduled at least 10 to 14 days before the date you want to take your exam. If you send a late request, you may not get the day and time you want or you may have to go to another campus to take your exam.

Your request will automatically be emailed to the campus Test Center where you plan to take your exam. You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment when it is scheduled. You will need this confirmation when you arrive at the Test Center. IF YOU DO NOT GET A RESPONSE BACK, SEND ABOVE INFORMATION TO virtual@hacc.edu

Your instructor will have testing information in your course syllabus. Be sure to bring your logon information along with you to the testing facility.

Off-Campus Testing
If you are physically unable to come to one of HACC's five campuses to take your exam, you will first need to contact your instructor to get permission to take an exam with a proctor. If your instructor gives you permission, you will need to secure a qualified proctor and complete and submit an Off-site Proctor Form for Students. (pdf).

Email the completed Proctor Request Form to your instructor for his/her approval.

Special Needs Testing
The above testing information is NOT for students who need special accommodations for testing. Contact your campus Disability Services Office for information.
