Employer Services

Career Services located at HACC's Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Lebanon campuses provide a number of beneficial services to employers wishing to recruit and hire HACC students and alumni.

Job/Internship Postings:

Employers can now register electronically to participate in HACC's free, new online job and internship posting service through College Central Network. Once registered and approved, employers will be able to post positions and internships directly online and view student resumes by area of interest and major. To register visit www.collegecentral.com/hacc.

Internship Program: The goal of the internship program is to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with area businesses and associations that will allow our students to integrate their classroom instruction with practical hands-on work experience. To obtain information on our internship program, visit Employer Internship Information.

On Campus Recruitment:

The Career Services Center at the Harrisburg campus offers spring recruitment dates to employers who are interested in participating. Unlike the spring Internship and Job Fair, recruitment activities are weekly and on a smaller scale. Typically, 4-6 employers participate on a given day. Employers are set up in the cafeteria of the Cooper Student Center. If you are interested in on-campus recruitment, call the Career Services Center at (717) 780-2522.

On Campus Job Fair:

The Career Services Center at the Harrisburg campus offers a large-scale job fair in April. Approximately 100 plus employers participates, over a two-day period. In addition, the branch campuses also have spring job fairs. For more information about these events, visit Upcoming Events.

On Campus Presentations and Special Events:

The Career Services Center at all campuses hosts a series of career-related events, such as career symposiums, Career Day, Career Information Fair, resume writing, and interviewing skills workshops. Oftentimes, area employers are called upon to assist with and/or participate in these events. If you are interested in hearing more about how you can play a role, contact the Career Services Center. A list of contacts at each campus can be found at Meet the Staff.

As an area employer, we hope you will agree that these services can provide you with excellent opportunities to advertise, meet with, and recruit from a diversified population of students and alumni. We look forward to hearing from you and assisting in your organization's employment needs through our offered services.
