Oct. 13th -The HACC Hawks notched their seventh win of their 2010 campaign to the EPCC and PCAA Championships. The Hawks secured a 4-0 win over the Lehigh Carbon CC Cougars on Wednesday, with the Hawks outshooting the Cougars 20-7. Gabriel Barrera connected with the net on his third shot on goal, which was an assist from Todd Veigle, to make the only goal of the first half. With a pass from Olawande Odeyemi, Djessih Nze Biyogho scored the second goal for the Hawks, two minutes into the second half of play. Thirty seconds later, Olawande Odeyemi connected his first shot on goal, to bring the Hawks into a 3-0 lead. With five minutes left in the second half, Olawande Odeyemi connected for a goal, bringing the final score of the match to 4-0. Andrew Grossman was in the goal entire game, making seven saves for the Hawks; keeping the Lehigh Carbon Cougars scoreless with the assistance of the Hawk backfield players. The Hawks are on the road this Saturday, as they take on Reading Area Community College for their last conference match of the season. The Hawks will be back at home as they play Delaware Tech at 3pm on Tuesday, Oct. 19th.
Oct. 6th - It was a wet and muddy day for soccer, but he HACC Hawks prevailed over Community College of Philadelphia with a 1-0 win, bringing their overall season record to 6-0. The Hawks have secured the #1 position in the EPCC Conference Season Standings, which means we will be hosting an EPCC Tournament match on Saturday, October 23rd at 1pm, the opponent has yet to be determined. Don't miss the Hawks in action as they take on Lehigh Carbon CC this Wednesday, Oct. 13th, at 3pm, and Delaware Tech on Tuesday, Oct. 19th at 3pm!
The Hawks kept RACC scoreless in the second half of the game. The Hawks came out with the 4-2 win over RACC, to bring their overall record to 4-0. The team is halfway through their season, and now they will go back and play each of the teams in the conference again. The Hawks are at home for their next three games, come out and cheer on your Hawks!! They'll be back in action on the soccer field this Saturday, October 2nd, at 1pm, as they play Delaware CCC and next Wednesday, October 6th, at 3pm against CC of Philadelphia.
Sept. 28th - A non-conference home match has just been added to the Fall 2010 schedule. The team is scheduled to play Delaware Tech - Stanton Campus on Tuesday, Oct. 19th at 3:00 pm. Sept. 18th - The HACC Soccer Team traveled to Community College of Philadelphia, where they kept their winning streak alive with a 5-3 win over the Colonials, improving their conference record to 3-0. The Hawks play their first home match of the 2010 seaon on Saturday, Sept. 25th, as they host Reading Area Community College. The Hawks came out on top, as they scored within the first two minutes of overtime, to bring home their second win of the season, improving their Fall 2010 season record to 2-0. They are on the road again this Saturday, as they take on the CC of Philadelphia at 1pm. The Hawk's first home match of the Fall 2010 season is next Saturday, September 25th, as they play host to Reading Area Community College. Mark it on your calendars and come out and support your Hawks! Goooooooooooooooooo Hawks!!! Sept. 11th - The Men's Soccer Team started off their 2010 season on the road with a 5-3 win over Lehigh Carbon CC. They continue their 2010 season on the road, as they travel to Delaware on Wednesday, Sept. 15th, and then they are off to CC of Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 18th.
