HACC Men's Volleyball

The Men's Volleyball Team currently competes in two different leagues of competition. They compete in the Mid-Atlantic College Volleyball Conference (MACVC) against colleges such as Messiah, Juniata, Millersville, Rutgers, and many more on the East Coast; the Hawks are the only two year institution to play in the MACVC. The Hawks also participate in the smaller Eastern Pennsylvania College Conference (EPCC) where they are the current three time defending champion (2007, 2008 and 2009). The EPCC is composed of 2 year institutions such as Northampton, Community College of Philadelphia, and Lehigh-Carbon.

2009 Season highlights

Shane Smith and Andy Nguyen were named to ALL MACVC Tournament Team. The Men's Volleyball Team won both the EPCC Tournament Championship and EPCC League First Place. The Hawks finished second in the MACVC Championship, losing a tough best of 3 of the third game to Rutgers. The Hawks beat defending NIRSA National Champions Messiah College in the quarter finals, then advanced to the finals by beating a tough Kutztown team.

Past Season Highlights

The Hawks finished second in the Western Division, behind Messiah College, and finished third overall in the MACVC championships. While the Hawks are the defending two time (2007 & 2008) EPCC Champions. The Hawks have not dropped a single game in EPCC competition in 2 years (22 games).
