"I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the experience with the Swingle Singers. Thank you for making this wonderful event happen. The students were blown away, and quite frankly, so was I. I knew they were world-famous, but I never imagined the level of virtuosity they displayed. It was the best a cappella concert I've ever been to!

What really made the day memorable was the chance to work first hand with the Singers. They were warm, welcoming and charming. My students were buzzing about the new friends they had made.

- Gregg Mauroni (CD East High School Choir Director)

"The information you shared with us will no doubt be valuable for our futures as it is relatable to virtually every part of the music business. I really enjoyed hearing about what it takes to be a Presenter from someone with the level of experience that you have and hearing about some of the history of the theater made me realize that I am a part of something bigger than I had originally thought.

- Jonathan Smith (HACC Music Business 225 class)

"My students and I absolutely loved seeing Tango Fire at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center last fall. It sparked a lot of discussion about the distinctions between early Argentine tango and more contemporary and commercial tango fantasie. It was wonderful for us to be able to see a little of both. The dancers and musicians were superb! I'm so glad you hosted this event."

- Jennifer L. Conley (Franklin and Marshall College)

"Amazing Flamenco show tonight. The best thing I have witnessed in performance art!!!"

David Andrew Shultz

"Teri, what a wonderful evening and what a great opportunity for my Movement students to see just what the body can do on a stage!"
- Marnie Brennan (Theatre Professor, HACC)

"Many thanks to the wonderful folks at HACC's Rose Lehrman for bringing jazz back to the best sounding venue in town. Ron Carter was everything you'd expect from a true legend ... Great band, too"

"I had the pleasure of enjoying 100 Years of Broadway this evening. I find it hard to express how the performance affected me. I jokingly said that it was a 'two tissue concert'...but truly it did touch me that deeply.

I still cannot believe the amount of talent that graced the Rose Lehrman stage tonight. The warmth of every one of the performers came through in their genuine interaction with the audience. Every single song was delivered with a Broadway presence that took my breath away. Never did I think that in my lifetime I would see performers of this caliber on one stage in Harrisburg, PA.

My husband and I have season tickets to the Harrisburg Symphony POPS series and have seen numerous Broadway performers on stage at the Forum. Although every single one has been wonderful...nothing could touch what I saw tonight.

As they signed my CD and I expressed my appreciation for their performances, they each said they hoped that they would be invited back. I sincerely hope so too...I would love to see this become an annual event!

Bravo to you for getting them here...a wonderful venue for a tremendous show!"
- Essie Petrovich

"Congratulations to Teri Guerrisi, Director of the Arts Center at the Wildwood campus, for bringing in the Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway show last night. Five Broadway singers 'wowed' a nearly packed house and raised the stature of HACC in the Harrisburg community. Thank you for allowing us to hear such a magnificent music without having to travel to New York City and paying New York prices!!!"
- John Heapes

"Congratulations! The Distinguished Service to the Arts in the Capital Region Award for 2012 could not have a more deserving recipient than the 'Live at Rose Lehrman'-Rose Lehrman Arts Center. I truly appreciate the hard work that's been done through the years to ensure quality performance will be available to Central PA audiences at reasonable prices at HACC. Thank you for all you have done."
- P. Goodwin

Great prices. You get more than just a show. My daughter and I love it."

"I can't tell you how impressed I was with your season, your thoroughness, and your love for the art form. Your leadership is an example of how all presenters should work. I was thrilled to be with the company in Harrisburg, and I look forward to seeing you the next time you are in New York."
- Eduardo Vilaro (Ballet Hispanico - Artistic Director)

"Thank you for making our visit to HACC and the Rose Lehrman possible. It is so important to expose our students to higher education and the new experiences associated with your shows. Thank you for working with us and thanks for a great show!"
- Duane Shearer (Danzante) Re: Ballet Hispanico

"For anyone that knows the Lehrman Center, they know that there isn't one bad seat in the house. It is a small venue that packs a good punch... Overall the show was very entertaining.... Danu's music was full of merriment and that was spread throughout the audience. We all took home a little piece of Ireland that night."
- Genevieve Zettlemoyer (Student)

"My children and I had a fabulous time. As a matter of fact, my 2.5 year old was so mesmerized. I was shocked that she sat so still for the whole thing. My nine year old and four year old could not stop talking about what they saw and how much fun they had."
- Daniella Bergman (Keystone Human Services) Re: Fred Garbo

"A special thank you for all of your efforts to support our HACC music industry students by involving them with event promotion for your SQUONK Opera event.  This event provided a wonderful opportunity for our music industry students to be actively involved with the creative concert promotion of the SQUONK OPERA production....  The SQUONK OPERA event also provided an enriching opportunity for 7 of our HACC music industry students to perform for the Squonk Opera professional cast. The cast shared their helpful creative critique relative to each individual student performer.  The cast also shared their unique back stage preparation in both set and sound design required for the following night’s performance.... I was highly impressed with the detail of preparation provided for our students by both Teri Guerrisi, Director of Performing Arts for HACC, and Jenn Boyd, Marketing/Promotions Coordinator.  Both were most supportive and demanding in that this experience provided a highly educational and creative applied experience for our students....  I highly applaud, Teri Guerrisi, Jenn Boyd and our music industry students in making this a most educational experience.  I would welcome any future opportunities for our music industry students to participate with the Performing Arts Series."
- Carole Knisely (Coordinator for Music Industry Studies - HACC)

"The Live at Rose Lehrman Series, under the direction on Ms. Teri Guerrisi, represents a high level of artistic quality as well as a successful community collaboration. It continues to be a program that educators and working artists of CASA recommend for their students and personally enjoy....  The Capital Area School for the Arts has benefited greatly from our association with Live at Rose Lehrman. Our dance students are involved in a Mentor program which this year has allowed them to observe, research and become actively involved in, not only arts administration, but also in the dance master classes with Pascal Rioult Dance Company, The Lar Lubovitch Dance Company and Step Afrika. Live at Rose Lehrman has provided our students with diverse movement experiences and networking possibilities with not only dance but theater and music professionals as well.... I highly recommend your consideration of this valuable program."
- Rosemary Battista (Dance Director - Capital Area School for the Arts)

'We are so blessed to work at a place where they bring in such wonderful entertainment like "Ball in the House." My 24 year old daughter and I attended their performance last night and we both thoroughly enjoyed it."
- Jean Tucker (HACC Career Services Specialist)

"Thank you so much for coordinating the Ball in the House performance with Newport H.S.  Our students had an amazing experience and learned so much from the gentleman of Ball in the House. People here in Newport have not stopped talking about the event and I've received compliments and positive feedback all week long...  Again, our sincerest thanks for allowing us to be a part of this event."
- Amy Finnerty and Rebecca Wiles (Co-Directors, Newport High School Innovation)

"I really LOVED Ball in The House! Those guys rocked!!! And of course, one of the best was Diva Nation! It was nice to have a Girl Power night! They were a riot!"
- Jennie Cheeley (HACC Student)

"Wizard of Oz - As the proud Mom of one of the kids in the cast - I have to say it was a wonderful way to inspire and highlight the youth of our region! Still, I have to say that I enjoyed every show I attended - you present such a diverse selection of top notch performers!"
- Sherry A. Andersen - Re: Missoula Children's Theatre

"We have been working with the Live at Rose Lehrman Series in a variety of ways over the past five years. At least one time per year, Teri Guerrisi arranges for a master teacher from one of the dance companies, which is performing as part of the series, to teach a class to our advanced dancers. This class is also open to the public. These classes are invaluable in the training of dancers in that they offer the opportunity to work with artists who are currently on tour with major dance companies. Sometimes it is a dancer from the company, sometimes it is the artistic director of the company, but whoever has come has been a great addition to our regular series of teachers. We have been thrilled to take advantage of classes from Philadanco, Pilobolus, Lar Lubovitch, and Pascal Rioult to name a few....  I would strongly encourage the Cultural Enrichment Fund to support the grant application for the Live at Rose Lehrman Series to continue the educational offerings of this worthwhile program."
- Kathryn H. Aumiller (Executive Director - Pennsylvania Regional Ballet)

"I couldn't sleep last night because I kept seeing those images. Congratulations on such a beautiful and rich production. The musicality and texture of the choreography were stunning. He (Lar Lubovitch) is truly a genius, and the dancers are the beautiful vessels for his work. I am so grateful that I got to see them perform."
- Nancy Wilkes (Communications Director - PMTA) Re: Lar Lubovitch Dance Company

- - -

"WOW!!!! What an amazing and spectacular evening! Thank you for presenting Lar Lubovitch in Central PA."
- Francine Feinerman (Campaign Coordinator - Jewish Federation of Harrisburg)

"My wife and I are still discussing the wonderful dance program we saw last night. It was one of the most exciting we have seen. Thank you so much for bringing Lar Lubovitch Dance Company to Harrisburg....  We thoroughly enjoy the dance programs you bring to HACC. Keep it up!  We often travel to NYC, and elsewhere to see various forms of dance but we have some of the best in our own back yard.... Best wishes for your continued success and that of Live at Rose Lehrman."
- John and Ellen Cramer

"I am writing to thank you for partnering with Reclaim The Streets Ministries during the Step Afrika Program.... It was truly a blessing to work with Ms. Guerrisi in planning and executing this program allowing inner City children from the Harrisburg School District to experience this great show. The interaction with your program truly benefited a large group of the community. The children are still talking about the way Step Afrika interacted with them....  Reclaim The Streets Ministries supports your program completely."
- Bishop William Jones, Jr (Founder & CEO - Reclaim The Streets Ministries)
