A new noncredit Phlebotomy Technician program is now available in Harrisburg and Lebanon. Coming soon to Gettysburg, Lancaster and York.  Classes are offered full-time and part-time evenings.  Contact if you are interested or have any additional questions.


What does a phlebotomy technician do?

A phlebotomy technician:

  • works with patients to draw blood for laboratory tests
  • communicates effectively
  • is responsible for the proper identification, collection and acceptance of specimens for laboratory testing.


Where do phlebotomy technicians work? 

Phlebotomists work mainly in:

  • hospitals
  • labs
  • blood donor centers
  • doctor’s offices
