Becoming an expert in this field means learning from the pioneers who are taking the industry into the mainstream. The certificate programs that Green Flower offers in partnership with HACC include three online study areas:

  • Cannabis Extraction and Product Development Specialist Certificate - Gain advanced job skills and knowledge to excel in a manufacturing role in the cannabis industry. You will study a range of topics, including: the business of cannabis extraction, product development, formulation and plant ensemble, extraction processes and principles, product safety, packaging and labeling, pest control, product testing, storage and more.(9 weeks) $849 with a payment plan available.
  • Cannabis Retail Specialist Certificate - Gain advanced job skills and knowledge to excel as a dispensary associate. You will study a range of topics, including: the history and botany of the cannabis plant, cannabinoids, terpenes, and the Endocannabinoid System, as well as health and safety training, best security procedures, inventory tracking, the importance of documentation and recordkeeping, and product safety. (9 weeks) $849 with a payment plan available.
  • Cannabis Cultivation Specialist Certificate - Gain advanced job skills and knowledge to excel in a cultivation role in the cannabis industry. You will study a range of topics, including: the business of cannabis cultivation, botany and genetics of the cannabis plant, seeds, germination, cloning, light sources, pests, disease and threat management, irrigation, product safety, packaging and labeling, storage, and more. (9 weeks) $849 with a payment plan available.

This program will provide you with foundational skills for success in targeted, entry-level positions in the cannabis industry.

What are HACC’s classes like?


Instruction for these courses is provided by top experts in the cannabis industry through online, self-paced classes that you can access and complete at your convenience during an eight-week timeframe. Each of the certificate programs, which is presented in weekly, comprehensive modules, provides a well-rounded overview of the certificate focus area. Participants will also complete a portfolio project that allows them to demonstrate their sector-specific knowledge.
Students should expect to dedicate around six hours per week to complete the coursework in this program.
