Psychology: Transfer Associate  (5150)

If you are interested in human behavior and want to understand how the mind works, a psychology career may be a good match for your interests. After completing our Associate in Arts (AA) in psychology, you will be ready to transfer your HACC credits to a four-year school to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

What can I do with this in the workforce?

We designed our Psychology program for students who are planning to transfer to a four-year school. You will gain a solid foundation in psychology and be prepared to transfer to a wide range of four-year schools with specialized programs.

If you plan on working in therapeutic or academic settings, you will need to continue your education to earn a master’s degree.

Can I transfer my credits to a four-year college or university?

Affordably YOURS, our two-year degree program is a transfer program. Our programs are designed to be flexible enough to transfer to a wide variety of colleges and universities with no loss of credit. If your intended transfer school participates in Pennsylvania’s statewide college credit transfer system, you will be able to begin there at the junior level. Our programs also transfer well to schools outside the statewide system. However, each individual college has its own unique program. We encourage you to select a four-year school as soon as possible. This will allow you to learn the transfer college’s program requirements so you can take the proper classes at HACC.
