Course Description:
|
Introduction to professional topics and competencies in education. Purposes, structure, and impact of schools, as well as teaching methodology, curriculum, and the teaching profession are discussed in relation to students, families, and society. Students practice professional dispositions and behaviors in diverse settings during 20 hours of field experience. Pre-requisite: Eligibility for ENGL 101.
- Comments: CRN 33579, Students will schedule 20 hours of daytime classroom observation in addition to class participation. State Police , ACT 34; Child Abuse, ACT 151; and FBI Fingerprint clearances are required.
