The College provides workers compensation insurance for each employee. The insurance provides, according to Pennsylvania law, for payment of medical expenses and partial wage continuation for occupational injuries or illnesses incurred while within the scope of employment.

If you are injured while on the job, you are required to submit a report of that injury. Any occupational injury or illness must be reported to the Central Human Resources Office and immediate supervisor within 24 hours. Report forms may be obtained from your manager or the Central Human Resources office. If your injury requires medical treatment, you must obtain it from one of the physicians listed on the college’s panel of physicians. A listing of a panel of physicians is available on bulletin boards at each campus. If you are not treated by one of these physicians, your medical costs may not be covered by insurance. In the case of an emergency situation, it is appropriate to go directly to a hospital emergency room.
