Program Requirements (Total Credits = 18)

General Education
BIOL 111     Intro to Human Biology* or BIOL 121 Anatomy & Physiology - 3/4 credits
CIS 105       Intro to Software for Business - 3 credits
COMM 104  Interpersonal Communication or COMM 203 Effective Communication - 3 credits
AH 140         Intro to Allied Health - 3 credits

Major
PBT 101 - Phlebotomy* - 4 credits
PBT 102 - Phlebotomy Clinical* - 2 credits

* Grade of C or better required

AH140 and BIOL 111/121 are prerequisites or corequisites for PBT 101. 
PBT 102 MUST be taken within 2 semesters of completion of PBT 101.

Program-specific course sequence (taken upon acceptance into the clinical phase):
Clinical Semester 1 - PBT 101 (Not full-time. Other courses can be taken with this course.)
Clinical Semester 2 - PBT 102 (Hospital clinicals - full-time days for three weeks. Other courses can be taken with this course, but those other courses must be evenings or on-line.)
