About the career
NEW NEW NEW - As part of the nursing department's ongoing effort to evaluate the selection process, our point system is reviewed annually. Based on a two-year study conducted by the Office of Institutional Research, a new calculation model has been identified.
The nursing department will implement the new point system beginning with applications for admission into the Associate Degree Nursing program for FALL 2012. View the
revised point system. As you pursue your nursing education goals, all pre-nursing students are encouraged to meet with campus counselors/advisors to ensure a better understanding of the selection process.
Receiving an associate degree in nursing (ADN) at HACC will enable you to sit for the NCLEX® exam and to be licensed by the PA State Board of Nursing. After receiving your ADN you can pursue a BSN, a Masters or Doctorate degree.
