Developmental coursework must be completed prior to application deadlines according to program admission criteria.

Developmental coursework listed below:

NOTE: The documented proficiency is satisfied by either
  • earning a C or better in the listed course, or
  • HACC placement test results allowing enrollment in the next course
Dental Hygiene
  • Documented proficiency, C or better, in English and Math through the 051 level
  • High school biology (academic or honors) or Biology 111
  • High school chemistry (academic or honors) or Chemistry 100 within the last 7 years
Nursing
  • Documented proficiency, C or better, in English and Math through the 051 level
  • High school biology (academic or honors) or Biology 111
  • High school chemistry (academic or honors) or Chemistry 100
Practical Nursing
  • Documented proficiency, C or better, in English through the 051 level
  • Documented proficiency, C or better, in Math through the 020 level
