Head Coach: Tom Sweitzer 

The 2009-2010 school year marks Tom Sweitzer's  eighth season at the helm of HACC's Tennis Team. In 2008, Coach Sweitzer was named Coach of the Year, while the Tennis Team captured the EPCC League First Place in addition to both the EPCC and PCAA Tournament Championships. In 2004, Coach Sweitzer captured a PCAA State Team Title. Sweitzer has produced two PCAA State Men's Singles and three Doubles Champions.

Sweitzer's tennis fundraising efforts have earned him Gubernatorial Recognition for raising over seven million dollars for local charities. He has escorted over 8,000 local tennis fans to professional tennis events and vacations. He has been a USTA (United States Tennis Association) Volunteer for 29 years. He has been a USPTA Volunteer for 20 years - a former Middle States President and has served on the National Executive Committee for nine years.

Having published over 30 articles in trade publications and presented at over 20 National and State Tennis Conventions, Sweitzer earned his USTA Master Professional Rating in 1993 - an honor earned by less than 1% of the 20,000 certified tennis professionals.

Tom also directs direct programs at Colonial Country Club, Hampden Township Recreation, West Shore Recreation, Lower Paxton Recreation, Palmyra Recreation, Derry Township Recreation, The Milton Hershey School and the Hershey Racquet Club.

Sweitzer is a graduate of Bloomsburg University where he was the first Husky to win a State Doubles and Eastern Collegiate Singles Title. Sweitzer ranks second all-time in Bloomsburg's win/loss percentage record. Tom taught Business Education at his alma mater, Manheim Central.
