The HACC Foundation is a non-profit educational trust established in 1985 to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. Since then, it has become one of the nation’s foremost community college foundations and a catalyst for positive change throughout Central Pennsylvania. The work of The HACC Foundation transforms the lives of deserving students, enriches the area’s workforce as well as the intellectual and cultural climate of the region, thus fostering success stories in many notable ways.

Today, The HACC Foundation endowment is valued at over $25 million, making it one of the wealthiest community college foundations in the nation. The Foundation’s board of directors, composed of leaders from the private and corporate sectors, judiciously administers funds so that the mission of the college can be fully realized. At the heart of that mission is the commitment to meeting the academic and workforce training needs of Central Pennsylvania. Each year, the board of The HACC Foundation authorizes disbursements of over $2 million toward student scholarships, facilities enhancement, cultural programming for the community, and special initiative grants for faculty and staff. In growing its endowment, The HACC Foundation will be better able to foster talent and skills, encourage ambition, and provide a corps of well-educated, professionally prepared individuals to serve the region’s workforce in the years ahead.
