HACC is running two Environmental Technician Training sessions Spring of 2012.  These eight (8) week courses will be held in Lancaster and Harrisburg.  This training is certified by the EPA. For more information contact :

The basic introduction to solar energy was a 20-hour course that took place Aug. 11 - Sept 10. The course was for the professional contractor who has some mechanical and electrical knowledge. Topics included site surveys, system components and configurations, methodologies and calculation. Mike Barnes, an adjunct professor at Midtown, was the instructor.
