A: HACC offers orientation, advisement, assistance with immigration matters including paperwork, help with finding housing, and other non-academic matters.

A: Yes! The International Awareness Club (IAC) consists of students from all over the globe as well as American students. The purpose of the IAC is to improve cultural awareness. Meetings are bi-weekly.

Q: Is the TOEFL exam required for admission into the ESL program?
A: No, a TOEFL score is not required for a student who wishes to take ESL classes. However, if you are planning to forego ESL classes and start standard college level courses, you must have a TOEFL score of at least 550 for the written exam, 79 or 217 for the computerized exam.
