Students facing extraordinary financial circumstances are encouraged to apply for emergency assistance funds. The funds may be used for expenses such as books, course fees, course required items not found in HACC's bookstores, physicals, emergency auto repair expenses, bus passes, childcare and/or or personal home catastrophe (i.e. fire or flood that directly affects students' ability to attend classes). Some expenses, however, are not allowable. Guest students and SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) suspended students are not eligible for emergency assistance funds.
There is no guarantee that applicants will receive the emergency funds. However, they lose nothing by trying. To apply for emergency assistance funds, please complete and submit this online form.
