When you register for classes, you create a bill with the College. You are responsible for payment of those charges and should know the tuition due dates posted on our College website.
The Office of Financial Aid Services always advise students to apply for financial aid to assist them in covering their bill and other related costs like transportation, child care, and other expenses. If you receive enough financial aid to cover your entire bill then you will not need to make any payment arrangements.
However, if your financial aid is not enough to cover your bill OR you do not have financial aid in place by the tuition due date, then you must make another arrangement for payment. Click here for more information about Payment Options or contact Student Accounts/Cashiering at the campus you attend.
HACC Monthly Payment Plan & Financial Aid
If you enter into a payment plan agreement you must continue to make payments until your FAFSA has been reviewed and your financial aid finalized. An official award notification will be sent to you. If you have paid more than the balance owed, you will be refunded any overpayment after financial aid funds are disbursed.
Purchasing Books with Your Financial Aid
Students who have received financial aid that is more than their bill are permitted to use the excess financial aid to purchase their textbooks at our College bookstore. You will need your course schedule (available on HACCWEB) and HACC ID to charge books. See when you can begin to charge books at the HACC Bookstore.
