Description of Project Management Fundamentals - CRN 80287
Instructor: Myles Miller, MBA, MCSE, PMP, PPS

This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of Project Management (PM) addressing critical tactical elements and processes as well as the importance of leadership in the successful completion of a project. By the end of the training participants should be able to: • Explain how to begin Project Management including describing a project and the PM life cycle. • Initiate a project by determining the scope of a project, identifying the skills for a project team and evaluate the risks to a project. • Evaluate and report on the team’s project performance. Lunch is not provided. This course is eligible for educational assistance. Please complete the application and return to the Office of Human Resources.
