At the Burle Industries Building on New Holland Avenue in 1989 HACC – Lancaster Campus opened its doors offering 312 students the opportunity to enter 12 programs.

In August 2001 we opened our doors at our current location at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike with 2400 students enrolled in 60 programs.

As our campus quickly reached capacity in 2002, our Board of Trustees recommitted their support to an expanded presence in Lancaster County. That commitment resulted in the new East building and new Facilities building on our campus. We welcomed over 3800 students in August 2004 to our expanded campus with over 80 programs of study available to students.

In addition, we serve over 6000 students each year in workforce and economic development education and training both on our campus and at worksites throughout Lancaster County. Our campus expansion in 2004 also included adding 10,000 sq. ft. to the D&E Library/Learning Center and 4000 sq. ft. to the student cafeteria in our Main building.

Our current location hosted nearly 5000 students in the fall of 2008.
