Event Details

Lancaster Campus Fifth Annual 5K Wellness Run

  • What: YOU can help raise funds for the Lancaster Campus Wellness Scholarship by joining the Fifth Annual 5K Run.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 30 2017 (rain or shine)
  • Where: HACC’s Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602
  • Check-In and Late Registration: 7:45-8:30 a.m.
  • Race Starts: 9:15 a.m. 
  • Parking: Free

The HACC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises private funds for HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is pleased to offer opportunities to sponsor events at HACC in 2017.

 

Participation Opportunities

Participation in the Fifth Annual 5K Run at HACC’s Lancaster Campus event will support the Lancaster Campus Wellness Scholarship Fund.

Early Registration – $15

  • Through Sept. 1, 2017 (guarantees a T-shirt)

Regular Registration – $20

  • After Sept. 1, 2017 (T-shirt is not guaranteed)

  • Company name displayed on event posters

Silver Sponsor – $250

Gold Sponsor – $500

  • Company logo displayed on event posters

History of the HACC Wellness 5K

The HACC Wellness 5K began in 2013 when we saw the need and opportunity for an exercise event to promote Health and Wellness among students, staff and community. HACC’s Lancaster Campus had enough space for a 3-mile course by taking advantage of the jogging/walking trail and parking lot areas. The race has evolved from student and staff participation to include residents in surrounding communities. Many community businesses have contributed to make the event profitable for us to establish a student Wellness Scholarship program.
