Renovated Cooper Student Center

Visit YOUR Newly Renovated Cooper Student Center!

We are delighted to announce that renovations to the Bruce E. Cooper Student Center (Cooper Student Center) are complete!

The 19-month, $12-million renovation has transformed the Cooper Student Center into a one-stop destination for student services and activities, including:

  • First Floor: The welcome center, admissions, financial aid and the disability services office
  • Second Floor: Counseling and advising, career services, global education, military and veterans affairs, student government offices and student club space
  • A variety of comfortable and appealing lounge spaces
  • A space for recruiters to showcase the campus
  • A computer lab for: o Financial aid workshops o Orientation to HACC's computer systems for students o Advising and registration sessions (The lab will also be available for students when it is not in use for the aforementioned activities.)
  • A refreshed food service venue that includes The Chef's Apprentice and SUBWAY
  • The PSECU student banking center
  • Flexible meeting spaces
  • Storage space

The Cooper Student Center was built in 1968 and has been the center of student activities and the heart of student involvement at HACC's Harrisburg Campus. The Cooper Student Center serves more than 7,500 students, 400 full-time faculty and staff and countless visitors throughout the year.
