She received her BFA from Kent State University and her MFA from Arizona State University. Millett exhibits her work broadly in group and solo exhibitions across the United States. She has received grants for her work, including a 2007 Individual Creative Artists Fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Since 2001, Millett has taught courses in sculpture, foundry and installation at Penn State. She was raised in El Paso, Texas, and currently resides in State College, Pennsylvania with her family.
