The HACC Foundation is a non-profit educational trust established in 1985 by visionary leaders who saw the value of preparing for future years, to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. Due to their thoughtful commitment and the largesse of many, the HACC Foundation Endowment is among the wealthiest of any community college foundation in the nation. The HACC Foundation Endowment is comprised of over 200 individual restricted funds totaling over $25 million in value. These funds are administered by the CEO of the HACC Foundation (who serves as Executive Director, Institutional Advancement & HACC Foundation Development). The HACC Foundation's Board of Directors represents accomplished corporate and community leaders who are committed to raising awareness and funds for HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College and its students.
In FY 2007-08, the HACC foundation offered fiscal support of over $7 Million to the College for scholarships, instructional and facilities needs, cultural activities, and special programs.
