HACC alumni are making a difference

The HACC Alumni Association and all HACC students thank the hundreds of HACC alumni who have so far contributed to the 2010 annual appeal, Make A Difference. In recent months, your generous donations have been used to support student scholarships, equipment purchases, and upgrades to college buildings.

In February, your HACC Alumni Association pledged a $10,000 major gift to HACC Gettysburg’s Share the Vision, Shape the Future campaign, which will be divided equally between the campus’s Opportunity and Access Scholarship Fund and its Technology and Equipment Fund. In March, the Alumni Association gave another $10,000 gift to support The Campaign to Help Tomorrow’s First Responders, Today! which seeks to expand and upgrade the Senator John J. Shumaker Public Safety Center on the Harrisburg Campus (see article below).

It’s not too late to make a gift. The 2010 Alumni Appeal Phonathon is now taking place, so please make a contribution if you are called. You can also mail in the pledge card sent recently. More
