Thank you!

In this season of Thanksgiving, we give thanks for YOU—our alumni!  Your generosity contributed to our success in 2010.  In the past year, your gift, along with donations from fellow alumni, enabled your Alumni Association to:

Help PA community colleges

A Message from Interim President Ron Young –

HACC needs your help. Now that the elections are over— it is time to make sure that Governor-Elect Tom Corbett understands the importance of restoring and increasing the much needed funding for Pennsylvania’s community colleges. It is no secret that one out of every five Pennsylvania college students graduates from a community college. It is our job to help Governor-Elect Corbett understand the vital role we play and let him know that we are and need to be a priority.

The goal is to collect 8,000 more signatures for the Advance PA petition. With more than 50,000 alumni, I firmly believe we can meet that goal. This petition will be placed on the Governor’s desk in his first days in office and draw his attention directly to the vital role of community colleges.
