In today’s high-technology world, data can be had at the click of a mouse. People can research nearly everything, such as investments, large purchases, or employment, and make decisions based on data and facts. Data is also used to monitor the health of an organization, institution, or business and to make decisions based on that data.
HACC’s success can be monitored through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), which taken together can be considered as an Academic Dashboard. The Academic Dashboard is used by decision makers and officers within the College to monitor the health of the organization. This data is accessible to the outside community as well, providing consumer access to data that can help them in choosing an institution of higher education.
HACC’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), accessible via the links to the left, are:
- Faculty Ratios
- Persistence and Retention
- Placement and Transfer
Audited data is used to populate the dimensions rather than live data. This provides a static reference point for each of the academic year data cohorts and ensures data consistency from year to year.
